Myntr: building a personal finance platform for Danish banking

Context

When Spiir shut down, Danish users lost their favorite personal finance tool. The replacements didn't fit Danish banking well. I wanted the tool to exist, so I built it.

My role

All of it. Product decisions, architecture, backend, frontend, bank integrations, and operations.

What we did

Myntr connects to Danish banks and turns raw transactions into something useful: automatic categorization, receipt scanning, and budget insights that look forward instead of back.

Building alone forces discipline. Scope gets cut hard, the working core ships before the edges get polished, and the technology stays boring on purpose. It's the same discipline I bring to client work, just with nowhere to hide.

Outcome

A live product that real people use to manage their money, designed, built, and operated by one person.

If you have a product idea that needs to become real software, this is the kind of build I also do for clients. See how I work or get in touch.
